We’re on the lookout of a recently qualified Architect or RIBA PART II Architectural Assistant


Proworks is a RIBA Chartered Practice. Alongside the core architectural services, we also offer multi-disciplinary design services including; landscape, master planning and urban design.

Our multi-disciplinary design studio shares an open plan office with our parent company Lanpro planning consultancy in Norwich city centre. Together, the planning and design operations enable us to offer clients a full suite of development related services in-house and a seamless service from strategic development advice at project inception through to conceptual design, obtaining planning permissions and project delivery on site.

The Proworks design studio is a young and growing team with an exciting and varied portfolio of work. We offer the opportunity to work on an exciting breadth of projects, and exposure across a variety of RIBA stages. Current projects include; residential developments, one-off houses, new-build commercial, historic buildings, strategic masterplanning, student accommodation, and major infrastructure projects.


We have a vacancy for an ambitious and hard-working recently qualified Architect or Part II Architectural Assistant to join a vibrant growing team.

The successful applicant should:

  • have a passion for design and good all-round technical knowledge
  • have good hand drawing skills
  • have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • be motivated, pro-active, organised, questioning and able to take initiative
  • be keen and enthusiastic, with willingness to ‘muck in’
  • be capable of multi-tasking jobs and working within a team to meet deadlines
  • be proficient with AutoCAD, (knowledge of Revit advantageous but not necessary)
  • have experience and familiarity with the UK planning system
  • have 3years+ UK based experience

The role will include preparation of drawings and documents across all RIBA stages including; feasibility, planning and construction drawings for a wide variety of projects. We offer a relaxed, friendly and vibrant working environment within an open plan office working alongside other members of the design team and planners from our parent company Lanpro.

The post would suit someone with excellent written and graphic communication skills with an eye for detail who is looking to advance their career and be part of a close-knit team.
