We’re on the lookout for a Landscape Architect
Proworks is a multi-disciplinary design studio comprising landscape architecture, architecture and master planning and urban design functions.
We work closely with our parenet company, Lanpro, a town planning consultancy with archaeology, heritage, transport and travel capabilities. Both the design studio and planning consultancy operate from a large open plan office, based in Norwich city centre.
Together, the planning and design operations enable us to offer clients a full suite of development related services in house and a seamless service from initial high level landscape and development advice at project inception through to conceptual design and obtaining planning permissions to project delivery on site.
We are a growing team with an exiting a varied portfolio of work at all scales and offer the opportunity to work on an exciting breadth of projects. Our diverse project portfolio includes new settlement landscape-led masterplanning, residential developments, public realm urban design, major infrastructure projects, urban park regeneration, palliative care gardens, brownfield regeneration sites and ecology led country park design.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic qualified landscape architect (CMLI) to join a small but growing landscape architecture team within our multi-disciplinary practice. Candidates should have at least 3 years’ UK based experience with a passion for design and good all-round technical knowledge. We are seeking a candidate with particular expertise and interest in hard landscape detailing and on-site delivery of projects.
Good organisational skills are required, as well as the ability to run projects from inception to completion, including liaison with clients, consultants and contractors. The post would suit someone with excellent written and graphic communication skills with an eye for detail who is looking to advance their career and be part of a close knit team.
The ability to collaborate, engage with and communicate ideas within a multi-disciplinary design team is key. The successful applicant will be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills who is willing to work collaboratively with different team members and support the professional development of junior staff members.
